Biodiversity

Biodiversity is an issue of particular importance because of the impact of KCE's activities on the extent and condition of ecosystems.

As part of our environmental commitment, Kao Chemicals Europe works to protect and promote the planet's biodiversity. We strongly believe in the value of preserving this asset for the environmental wealth and heritage of future generations.

For this reason, in contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we emphasize activity aimed at protecting ecosystems and terrestrial biodiversity.

Initiatives for the preservation of biodiversity

The active involvement of our staff is essential to strengthening the bond between KCE and the wider community. By 2025:

KCG carried out the usual cleaning work along the banks of the River Rhine. KCSA and KCHI took part once again in the reforestation of the green space in Mollet del Vallès, helping out at the traditional Festa de l’ Arbre (Tree Festival).

These initiatives raise environmental awareness and encourage teams to get directly involved in protecting the natural environment.
