Our R&D Department develops products that anticipate customer needs and leads in industry trends.

Both make it possible for Kao to identify opportunities and approach them with focus, innovation and creativity. Our objective is to continuously improve our products and processes, as well as our level of excellence.

The result is a range of products, born from our deep knowledge of organic chemistry and physicochemical phenomena. Knowledge applied in different areas of development, like Surface and Interface Surfactants Technologies, Oleochemicals, Aroma Chemicals and Imaging Materials.

These solutions comply with Kao's commitment to the environment and human health. For this reason, we prioritize ecological products and technologies, keeping in mind safety assurance, energy saving and the reduction of CO2 emissions, among other socially conscious policies.

Infrastructures focused on R&D activities

Production support. Our objective is to increase the quality of our products and the production capacity of our plants. In coordination with the engineering and production team, efforts are devoted to the optimization of quality, approving new raw materials, and solving other related issues that can arise.

Sales support. To guarantee the best user experience for our clients, R&D personnel accompany the sales team on their visits to directly explain the products and how to apply them safely and with maximum effect. Furthermore, our R&D centers publish supporting documents to guarantee the clear transfer of information to our clients.

Development of new products with high added value. At Kao we promote innovation to meet the present and future demands of our stakeholders.
