Nuevo tratamiento superficial que consiste en aplicar una mezcla asfáltica semicaliente (de un centímetro de espesor ya compactada) pudiéndose fabricar con una gran variedad de agregados y sin necesidad de usar un betún modificado con polímero. Se consigue un asfalto con un alto punto de reblandecimiento y baja viscosidad a las temperaturas entre 100° y 160°C ofreciendo una apertura al tráfico significativamente menor a 30 minutos después de haber sido colocado. Se puede aplicar a cualquier hora del día o de la noche utilizando cualquier modelo de máquina extendedora de mezcla asfáltica caliente. Además corrige la carpeta asfáltica existente, problemas de rodera, aumenta el coeficiente de fricción y reduce el índice de regularidad internacional “IRI”.
